This week we will be using this site which is a great resource.

The plan is to have you read a section each day and then discuss it the next day in class.  So that we may discuss it properly you wiill need to read the section and then summarize each subheading.  For example,  Monday you will read the following section off of this article:

Internet Service

There are 9 subheadings under this Category. They are:

  • Internet Connection Alternatives for Home Networks
  • DSL vs. Cable Modem Internet
  • Types of DSL
  • T1 and T3 Lines
  • Fiber Optic Cable
  • LTE
  • WiMax
  • Satellite Internet
  • Dial-up Internet

Read each subheading and summarize. You may either write out your summary or type it out bulleting the main points.  If done correctly and throughly it will take most of the period.  The next day we will sit as a group and summarize.  Be ready to be chosen.

Tuesday- Discussion of Internet Service.
