US History- Reading pages 167-170 Strikes and Labor Unions. Gave a report on important people at this era.

US History - Finished US history Book #1 Up to the present time.  Pre- Algebra worked on division equations. Language Arts saw the movie on The Last of the Mohicans.  Students wrote a paper comparing the book to the movie.  Exams are on Wed-Thurs-Fri this week.

Language Arts - Spelling Lesson 11 pages 62-66. Test on Friday  Action Magazine pages 1-3 News. Mini Mysteries on Lost Ferrets pages 1-5. Went on the Internet and read about Obama's speech.  Started King Arthur Pages 1-13. Wrote a Narrative Prompt about My Families Best Day Ever.

US History - Pages 177- 184 Conflict with the Native Americans 1860-1900. Also read about farming, mining and ranching.

Civics -Pages 2-21 Read about Democracy and Immigration.
