Topic outline

Geometry is a powerful tool for understanding and solving both mathematical and applied problems and offers alternate ways of reasoning mathematically beyond algebra, including analytical and spatial reasoning. In our ever-increasing technological world, a rich study of logic and mathematical proof is fundamental for reasoning and good decision making. The study of geometry offers students the opportunity to develop skill in reasoning and formal proof. It is also a field where Algebra skills are put to work.

Below you will find the units that make up Geometry. In each unit is the online textbook, your journal pages, your practice problems, and a practice test. For the practice tests, you will need the Examview player installed, download free (It is already installed on student laptops).
