1	Welcome tour and auditorium exploration.

2	The class will learn the 6 elements of design and apply them to the design of clowns and theatrical masks in order to gain experience with the 6 elements.

3	The class will design costumes for six characters. The design process will begin with collages and internet research and will continue through full color renderings of the final designs.

4	The class will go to the auditorium to learn the basics of light and sound design and implementation and will practice the basics of setting up lights and sound in the theatre.

5	The class will learn the basics of scenic design and will start with sketches and scale drawings and will take the design process all the way through the construction of miniature scale model sets.
